Some people dip their toes in. Others are a little bit braver and choose to dive in! But what you see here is the result of manifestation. In short, we simply brought to reality what all of us were already becoming internally. You must be willing to submerge yourself within the depths of discomfort and pain to become great.💪🏼
Today, we were challenged by Kris Gethin. His challenge to each and every one of us was seeing whether each of us possessed the physical and mental courage to last at least 1 minute in these ice tubs that you see here. What transpired afterward was nothing short of astonishing. The first group set the bar for how long everyone else took in each of their respective exposures with the ice tubs: a whopping six minutes 🥶
Here at Nutrition Solutions, we don't believe in limitations. However, for the interest of saving time, Kris wanted to set the "limit" for whoever wanted to jump at the opportunity to seize greatness that was available only to those deserving of it. So we marched on and the groups/individuals who submerged themselves wanted to surpass that six-minute mark. Heck, other individuals wanted to flex their strength on display and extend the time even further! You couldn't write a perfect story-book ending to one helluva memorable PT session. So much camaraderie and unity amongst everybody while all at the expense of achieving the mission in front of us!
On the way to achieving that goal, it was beautiful to see the routes to the mountaintop people took to get there. After all, if you ain't cheating, lying or stealing, then who cares how you did it? Each person adopted their own unique way of coping with the cold water and submerging their minds to greater resilient depths. Some went to a dark place. Others went to a happy place. Some never left and meditatively let the water flow through them.
What did this all teach us? Nothing new of course. In fact, we weren't even surprised. The culture that @chriscavallini built here is one that encourages others to be at their peak best, whether emotionally, mentally or physically. Iron does indeed sharpen Iron. And a team is only as strong as it’s weakest member👊🏼
