Bagaimana mencegahnya? Pertama, cobalah untuk melakukan pemanasan dengan benar. Setidaknya, pemanasan bisa membantu kamu yang belum terbiasa menahan beban terlalu lama. Kedua, ada baiknya para pemula menyiapkan tempat push up yang nyaman untuk mencegah cedera. Pilihlah tempat dengan permukaan yang rata. kamu juga bisa menggunakan alas seperti tikar yoga. Saat memulainya, letakkan tangan kamu sejajar di bawah bahu dengan posisi telapak tangan yang lurus untuk menghindari sakit di pergelangan tangan. Jangan melakukan push up dengan tangan terkepal agar tidak memberi tegangan untuk tangan. Arahkan mata ke bawah untuk menghindari sakit leher. Pastikan juga untuk meluruskan tubuh selama melakukan push up. Ingat selalu untuk tidak terlalu memaksakan tubuh kamu. Melakukan push up yang baik memang memerlukan banyak tenaga serta otot yang bekerja. Untuk mengurangi efek sakit setelahnya, kamu bisa mengawali dengan sedikit-sedikit seperti 5 kali push up. Latih terus tubuh kamu dan tambah beban kerjanya, maka tubuh akan mulai terbiasa. Disconnecting - lately I have been spending quite a bit of time in parts of Australia that has very little connection to anything I do back here in Sydney, places that have minimal to no Wifi, places that are more about keeping flies out of your face, heatstroke off your back and leeches out of your gum boots 😬. These places have made me feel like I’m home, like I’m connected to our beautiful county and disconnected from the small daily stresses that lead you down that anxious rabbit hole. I urge anyone reading this to head out into the country or to a local town km’s north/south from their usual city home and experience stillness, listen to the cicadas and birds that fill the air and just truly embrace our beautiful world.
