Seven days of @redjanuaryuk These pics bring me up for date for #beactiveeveryday in January. This is something more of us need to realise we should be doing. Being active daily is not the same as exercising every day.
Activity is literally movement, it can be walking, hillwalking, cycling, skating, Ive-skating, it could be sport, swimming, cycling, stretching, gym work snd so much more.
Day 8: I had a positive physio session with Sally at @healphysio - #progressisprogress It seemed like a good idea to run up the law hill 🤣🤦♀️ (see 1st picture).
Day 10: Learning & insight into my #runninggait with @run3d & @footcarescotland
Day11: Running in the rain - exhilirating! May have been my 1st #postinjuryrun in the 💦 grinning like a cheshire cat, I didnt care. Run because you CAN 👊
Day 13: this was a toughie, super breathless on my own run, so made the right decision to cut my run short. At nightI had week 1 of the #runclub #beginnerrunners group. They smashed it 💪 getting out in storm brendan 💨
Day 14: It was great being able to run from work @ghfdundee whilst injured I was having to go to other locations which can always add another barrier to getting out. Its also just great getting back to what seems like ‘normal’ running routine again. #grateful
Day 15: I was given the go-ahead to try some downhill running. It was SO much fun, getting into the parts I ♥️ Choosing a gene downhill, I ran as I normally would & it was totally successful. Literally everyday is like Christmas at the moment 🙏
Day 16: this was more of a down day with #activetransport #walking and some #stretching
Day 17: Im up to 48 mins of continuous #running guys 🎉🎉🙏 Plus caught a lovely sunset, as you can see in my last photo. #dundee #runninginjuries #growthmindset #icaniwill #mentalhealth #writeyourownstory #personaltrainer #femalecoach #bethechangeyouwanttosee
