So much for a cute picture but this is my life lol. TRYING TO DRINK MY VEGGIES. • • One thing all my best friends know about me is that If something’s hurting I don’t stop complaining. I used to complain allll the time about my stomach hurting to the point my friends would get annoyed. • • The problem was my digestion. Who actually eats 5-7 servings of fruits and veggies everyday? Not many. And not me. You know what I was sick and tired of?? . . Feeling like crap after drinking an energy drink. . Every time I had one, it was like one wasn't enough, or one made me irritable. . Plus I had a cramping feeling in my stomach everytime I had one or I'd go through "withdrawal" if I didn't have one. . So I said "SCREW THIS CRAP"! . About a month ago, I started a keto diet. . I couldn’t eat sugars and had to keep my carb intake to a maximum of 50g. Nutrition . Probably the hardest thing to grasp especially when you’re expecting certain results from your fitness routine . Bottom line, you can’t out train a poor diet. I did this for years and never saw the results . It wasn’t until I focused on my nutrition that I started seeing a transformation. Not only did I see a difference physically but I felt my energy change and like my head was no longer in a fog . I did my first Transphormation challenge these past 8 weeks and although I injured myself in the beginning, I stuck with my calories and hit my macros . These results were from staying consistent with my nutrition. I could’ve easily thrown in the towel after my injury, feeling like shit, just telling myself I’d get it together when I got better BUT I didn’t. Instead, I changed my mindset and approached the situation the best way I could . Next time you’re feeling like things aren’t going right and everything isn’t how they’re suppose to be whether it’s your fitness journey, business, or relationships, focus on the things you can control and what’s going to make you feel better and benefit your future . I switched it up because I am someone who CANNOT eat chicken every day/week. ... -Top Sirloin: cooked on the stovetop, medium heat for 3 mins on each side (medium rare) but will get cooked a bit longer when reheated. -mixed veggie medley: seasoned and cooked in the air fryer (best invention EVER) @ 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. -snacks will be level-1 protein bars and/or vanilla Greek yogurt with some level-1 blueberry muffin protein for added deliciousness! ... No. Not really. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But I knew that doing nothing was going to get me NOTHING. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Was I scared to fail? HELL YEAH. I STILL AM! But I take action anyway. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ❗️Failure determines your direction. Don’t let it break you. Let it guide you.
