the other day i read on twitter that "ways to achieve happiness" was the most talked about subject. but the thing is, i personally don't believe in making happiness a goal. if you think about it, happiness is just an emotion. just like anger, sadness, disgust, excitement, fear etc etc. are you angry forever? no. are you excited forever? no. those emotions have ups and downs and you can't make something so temporary your goal in life. it's unrealistic and very detrimental to your wellbeing. make it your goal to be at peace with yourself. something like peace can exist during ups and downs of your life. it will help you regulate emotions and give you a better control over every situation.
